Yahoo!!  My hemoglobin A1c  which is sort of an average of blood sugar, is only 5.0.  Diabetic is 6 and above.  Diabetics are supposed to keep it below 7.  I have had patients with values of 10 and 11 so having it at 5.0 is amazing!  I am delighted!

I'm grateful that I found a healthy diet that I can live with and that makes me feel good.  My depression is better, my fatigue is better and while my pain isn't necessarily better, it is sure not worse.

I am grateful for the fact that Jim still tries to work even though the heat is getting him down so bad and his knees are bothering him.

I am grateful I got those stitches out today and that stopped some of the hurting in that side of my mouth.

I am grateful I have a roof over my head and an a/c.

I am grateful it didn't heat up faster than it did. I am not looking forward to this weekend.

I am grateful for God looking out for me during this heat stuff too.

I am grateful for my computer and the other comforts I have to entertain me and inform me.
I am grateful that I can do some things still. I am grateful that I can still sew clothes for my granddaughters and grandsons.

I am grateful that my electricity got turned back on today.  After a night in the 90s and the dogs barking all night long.  Tonight will be heaven!

I am grateful that the doctor I saw Tuesday and today, said I DON'T NEED SURGERY!  The first doctor was a quack and just wanted my money!  They said my bladder was NOT in need of surgery and that I didn't even need pills.  The second doctor said for a chronic pain patient to have to undergo that kind of surgery was nuts!  Maybe later down the road I might have to have surgery, but not now!  She is setting up bio-feedback for me to learn to control my muscles around my bladder better.  Cool Huh!  The other doctor said my vagina was NOT prolapsed!  What was the doctor thinking of making a 5 inch incision to fix this problem when it could be done thru the vagina and the recovery time would be so much less!  It pays to have a second opinion or a third one!  I am so blessed with this news!  Did ya know that constipation can cause problems with our bladder.  My doctor said eat prunes and nip this in the bud!  So, I will be eating prunes!  LOL  So, all you constipated soles out there, EAT Prunes!  LOL  No surgery for me!  I am so pumped!
