As usual, the huge Christmas Tree in Rockefeller Centre
was beautiful enough to take your breath away.
You see it on TV all the time, but until you're standing below this
fabulous tree, you can't imagine how magnificent it is.
                                                                                                   

  
 Here's a closeup of the fountain below the Christmas Tree.
The skating rink is in front of the fountain and had quite a few people
enjoying the evening gliding along the ice.
  

         
This is a view looking back up to 5th Avenue from the Rockefeller Tree.
            The building with all the white snowflakes on it is Sak's 5th Avenue.
      At different times throughout the evening, music is played on loud speakers,
    and the snowflakes blink off and on in beat to the music!  A sight for sore eyes!

It was very cold and windy this night, but it didn't deter Colleen and I
from enjoying Rockefeller Centre, with the thousands of other tourists
who had the same idea.
We were lucky to find a nice security guard to take our picture!
