Michele Stephen, shown in the middle of the photo, is all smiles as she accepts the television set she won as the prize winner in a special appreciation draw held by Community Living Greater Sudbury at the Hanmer Valley Shopping Centre as part of the Valley East Days celebrations. 

Michele is shown with Deborah Sullivan, Executive Director of CLGS on the left, and Dorice Dusty, Public Relations Director. 

The television was donated by the Chelmsford Canadian Tire. 

The main purpose of the weekend was to increase public awareness of the work that is being done for developmentally challenged individuals in the Sudbury region. Visitors to the display were invited to enter their name in the draw at no charge. According to Dorice, “It was a fabulous day. We met a lot of really nice people”.
