Community Living Greater Sudbury Sponsors Command Performance With Sudbury Theatre Centre

If you are looking for the perfect gift for your Mother this year, look no more!

The Family Home Program Community Living Greater Sudbury has a pair of tickets for their first ever Command Performance, THE LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS” in conjunction with the SUDBURY THEATRE CENTER on May 12, 2006.

Besides being a great Mothers' Day gift for that special person in your life, you will have the opportunity to be part of an on going fundraising campaign for the Purchase of Accessibility and Mobility Equipment for the Family Home Program/Outreach Program.

The Family Home Program Community Living Greater Sudbury is a non-profit organization that supports people who have a developmental and physical disability in the Greater Sudbury region for the past 43 years. Tickets can be purchased at our main office, Community Living Greater Sudbury, at 303 York Street, Unit 241, in Sudbury. This is the 2nd floor of the C.N.I.B. building.

CLGS Sets Up At Hanmer Valley Shopping Centre To Promote The Little Shop of Horrors

Dorice Dusty, Public Relations Director for Community Living Greater Sudbury, has been setting up promotional displays throughout the region to promote this very worthwhile fund-raising initiative. Here, she is shown on the far right, with Sharon Kitching, left, one of the Board Members of the Association. The tickets were being promoted at the Hanmer Valley Shopping Centre as an excellent Christmas Gift idea.

"I've attended command performances sponsored by other organizations and I was very impressed with the event," explained Executive Director Deborah Sullivan when asked why Community Living Greater Sudbury would consider this as a specific fund-raising event. "Besides raising some money, it will also raise the profile of Community Living Greater Sudbury among the community."

Dorice feels that the promotion of "The Little Shop of Horrors" has already helped increase public awareness of the tremendous contributions to the community that the organization is making and she is pleased with the response to date.
