“Sports
enthusiasts have always been known as some of the most passionate
memorabilia collectors in the world,” stated Carmen Lalonde, owner of
Carmike’s Sports Memorabilia in the Hanmer Valley Shopping Centre who is
shown in the photo holding up two of her most popular jackets: a Dale
Earnhardt Jr. Nascar jacket and a Kasey Kahne Budweiser jacket. “I have
been a collector for many years so I know first-hand how much effort I put
into finding new items. I am always looking. The same is true for others
just like me.”
However, Carmen, like
so many of her friends, found it more and more difficult to find outlets
that carried a good selection of sports memorabilia, so she decided that
perhaps it was time for her to open up a shop of her own to fill the void.
When space became available at the Hanmer Valley Shopping Centre, she
decided to make the big move and that was how Carmike’s Sports
Memorabilia came to be.
“I knew that there
would be support for the store, but never in my wildest dreams could I
have predicted what has taken place since we opened,” she explained.
“My staff and I have been absolutely blown away with the number of
people who have visited us. So many of them are saying that it is about
time someone opened up a store like this. And many of them are saying that
this is where they will be doing most of their Christmas shopping.”
“Most of all, we have
been amazed at how our Nascar products are simply flying off the
shelves,” stated Carmen as she showed us the huge display of clothing
and memorabilia with Nascar emblems. “We have been told time and time
again that our store is the largest outlet for Nascar products north of
Toronto
.
In fact, many people have told us that they can’t even find any stores
in Toronto that have as much stock as we have for Nascar collectors. That
is one of the main reasons why we have created a web site so that our out
of town customers can keep up to date with our new stock and supplies. Now
they just have to call us and order by phone while looking at their

Carmike’s Sports Memorabilia contains everything you can think of
when it comes to sports memorabilia. You will find products from jackets
to garbage cans to autographed photos to hats. Besides the large selection
of Nascar products, all of the major sports such as hockey, football and

you, so all you have to do is tell me what you are looking for and I will
get it for you.”

are dropping in to see the inventory on hand whenever they are in the
area. One of the reasons for the instant popularity of Carmike’s Sports
Memorabilia is the fact that Carmen has put her prices at unbelievably
rock bottom levels. The two jackets in the photo, which would usually set
you back $299 anywhere else in the country sell at Carmike’s for only
$199. And there are price discounts like that throughout the store. Now
