“All of us – Lynda, Christina, Tyler and myself – want
to say thank you to all of the members and guests who supported us
during our first summer taking care of the golf course,” explained
Jim Allsop, one of the owners of the club. “It has been a growing
experience and we’ve certainly been met with challenges,
especially the weather. However, we’ve come through it in flying
colours and we’ve been able to keep most of the promises we made
in the spring. We’re really looking forward to the 2009 golf
season and have put in place some pretty exciting incentives that
we’re sure will be seen favourably by all of our current and
future members.

POWER
CART MEMBERSHIP |

There are many excellent initiatives being
introduced to Grill Marks Clearview for 2009, but none
are expected to be as popular as the new Power Cart
Membership which will allow members the use of a power
cart just about every time they want to golf next
season! And if one signs up before
April 30, 20089
, there can be even greater savings!
For members who plan on playing a lot of rounds during
the summer, this is an excellent option that will
certainly be economical.
Talk to the Pro Shop Staff about the Power Cart
membership the next time you are around the course. |

| During the 2009 golf season, the Grill Marks Bistro, Golf
& Conference Centre will be introducing a power cart membership for
all of our members.
For only $600 an adult may have the unlimited use of a power cart for
the entire season. For an additional $400 his/her spouse can also access
this membership. This means that every time you come to the golf course
you will have use of a power cart. It is just as if you own your own power
cart.
Furthermore, if you purchase your membership prior to April 30, 2009, you can save
10% off those prices. Your power cart membership will
therefore cost you $540 and your spouse $360.
If you decide to take advantage of this wonderful offer, you will be
subject to the following terms and conditions. |

CLUB hereby agrees to provide MEMBER with the use of
a power golf cart, and MEMBER hereby agrees to abide by the conditions set
forth herein, as follows:
- Power
Cart: The power cart membership is a single rider membership only.
MEMBER may lose membership privileges if he/she allows non-paying
riders on the golf cart. This rule will be strictly enforced.
Notwithstanding the aforementioned, the MEMBER’s child, if a member
of the course him/herself, will be allowed to ride free of charge when
playing in the same group as the MEMBER.
- Single
Riders: CLUB will not permit MEMBER to ride alone when there is
another single paid rider. Therefore, there will never be more than
two power carts per foursome and one power cart per twosome.
- Use
of Power Cart: MEMBER shall not use or permit the use of the power
cart in a negligent or improper manner. Only the member or other
approved paying rider is permitted to use the power cart that has been
assigned.
- Repairs:
MEMBER shall be responsible for the cost of repairs necessary as a
result of negligent operation of the power cart while in possession or
custody of MEMBER, and for those repairs necessary as a result of any
manipulation or alteration to the power cart while in the custody of
the MEMBER.
- For
all tournaments and outside events held at the CLUB, the MEMBER will
be required to pay the applicable tournament cart rate. This does not
apply to the member only events and regular league nights.
- MEMBER
acknowledges that the power carts may not be available when it is
determined by the CLUB that all power carts have been previously
rented by other power cart members or pay per use customers.
- Indemnity
and Release: MEMBER agrees to indemnify and hold the CLUB from and
against all claims, losses, causes of action and expenses, including
attorneys’ fees and legal expenses, arising from the use and
operation of any power cart delivered/released to MEMBER as a result
of the Agreement or arising from the breach of MEMBER of the terms and
conditions of this Agreement. The Permitted Users, including MEMBER,
for themselves and on behalf of their heirs, successors and assigns,
hereby release and discharge the CLUB and each of its officers,
directors, employees and representatives from any and all claims,
losses, causes of action and expenses arising from the use or
operation of any such power cart.
- Term:
This Agreement is for a term of one golf season commencing on the 1st
day of April, 2009, and ending on the 31st day of October,
2009.
