Children of St. Mary School Learn How To Make Real Pasta

Click To EnlargeMrs. Mary Peterson’s primary class at St. Mary School in Capreol enjoyed an afternoon learning how real pasta is made when three of Capreol’s finest cooks dropped in for a visit.

Shown in the background, from the left are Mr. Louie Delpapa, Mrs. Peterson, Mrs Lil Delpapa and Mrs. Lenore Dappolonia. Mrs. Dappalonia is well known in the community as the owner of Dapp’s Bakery.

The three adults have been presenting the workshop to Mrs. Peterson’s classes for the past eight years. The egg pasta was allowed to dry and then was cooked and eaten by the children three days later.
