Snowarama For Easter Seals is a series of individual snowmobiling events that take place in over 70 communities throughout Ontario from January through March. The Sudbury participants took part in a 3 hour guided ride to either Azilda or Garson and then returned to the Clearview Golf Club for a lunch and awards presentation.

This year the event raised over $12,000 for the Easter Seal Society of Ontario to help in their work on behalf of children and young adults with physical disabilities. Over 8000 families rely on The Society to purchase expensive equipment needed for mobility and communication, send kids to summer camp, provide access to information and resources and do research and prevention. In the 26 years of Snowarama operation in Ontario, a total of over $14 million has been raised with all of the money staying in Ontario.

The Valley Trailmasters , for the 5th year in a row, were once again the local club which raised the most pledges, topping out at over $4000. Chris Dugas, who annually is the individual with the highest pledge total raised over $2,200 himself.

This year the oldest rider was Bill Mason of Broder Dill.

President of the Sudbury Trail Plan, Richard Rich was in attendance as were the RCMP, the Regional Police and the S.T.O.P. Over 60 riders took part in the Snowarama event.
