How often have we
heard this saying? Perhaps
you may even use this expression about someone you know quite well.
Now that I have
you thinking of this saying, can you tell me if there is any truth to
it?
I can remember
high school like it was yesterday despite the fact that it was ten years
ago. I spent one whole hour
a day doing my hair and make up. Not
too much has changed in ten years.
Oh sure, the hair is now in a pony tail and my face is make up
free but I still spend one whole hour a day on myself, only it's to work
out.
Exercise machines
from A-Z that promise to fix every flaw imaginable.
With a lot of hard work, even more determination and excruciating
pain to your poor muscles, you might get to the half way mark of looking
like that supermodel you envy.
For meals, you can
go to the handy dandy grocery store and buy these in a can. They are made so you don't even have to add any ingredients
to them anymore. You just
pop the lid and it's ready to serve.
If the actual
eating process is what appeals to you there is always the ever faithful
nutri-bars that are just as healthy as the meals in a can, filling you
up for a full half hour.
If these courses
of action fail, do not fret. The
next best solution is just around the corner.
Any store that sells magazines can guide you. If you look through
the advertisements in your magazine, you should see the ad for the
"magic doctor" who can fix all of your flaws with a snip and a
tuck. This process can be
quite expensive and they rarely tell you the "fine print".
After the snip and tuck, exercise is needed to maintain your new
look.
As you are
finishing reading this, I would ask that you go help yourself to a
second helping of supper or maybe even enjoy a chocolate bar.
Growing old is inevitable. Growing
old gracefully to me means, have fun and enjoy yourself.
