John Robert has decided to step out of the political arena this time around, but it must be hard to sit still during the current campaign for the municipal elections. Here, he is shown taking notes during the ‘Meet The Candidates Night’ held on October 23. Robert has been following the candidates and listening with interest to their respective positions on the major issues.

“We have hundreds of millions of dollars of work to do to upgrade and maintain our infrastructure,” he commented after the meeting. “Money must be put aside to take care of these needs or we will be in trouble in the future. The next council must address these problems. They can make all the promises they want, but this City is going to need a great deal of money in the next few years.”
