John Brown looks over his collection of foreign currency
during one of his monthly visits to the Hanmer Valley Shopping Centre.
John, owner of The Connoisseur, is at the mall on the 3rd weekend of every
month.
"I haven't seen the price of gold this high since 1985, and silver
is the highest its been since 1982," explained John. "This has
increased the value of coins made of these materials and it has generated
a lot of interest among coin collectors."
John has a wide variety of coins, bills and memorabilia which can be of
interest to serious coin collectors like himself, or can make a wonderful
gift for that hard-to-shop for person on your list.
John will return to the mall on May 19 and 20.
