Volunteer Sudbury Fundraising Dinner Auction Being Held At Centennial Arena
  
Volunteer Sudbury/Bénévolat Sudbury is inviting the entire community to attend a fundraising dinner auction hosted by Ron Dupuis, Ward 3 Councillor of the City of Greater Sudbury and Francoise Roussel, Board Member.

The event will take place on Thursday, April 20, 2006 beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the Centennial Arena in Hanmer. The cost is $50 per person or $400 per table. Guest speaker will be Reverend Jeremy Mahood.

Volunteer Sudbury/Bénévolat Sudbury is a non-profit organization that promotes the benefits of volunteerism through awareness, education and offers a Matching Program.  It acts as a link between the organizations and volunteers for the enrichment of the citizens of Greater Sudbury.  

Its purpose is to actively promote volunteerism, consult and participate with organizations within the City in order to promote high quality volunteer programs with regard to volunteer recruitment, education, training, evaluation and recognition.

The success of the dinner auction will depend on the generous contributions that originate with businesses and residents of the community.  

People can participate in one or more ways:

By donating an item for the auction. You can call Volunteer Sudbury at 560-6661 and they will arrange to pick it up for you;
