Gerry E. Doyon CFP, on the
left, and Ray Doyon, on the right, as well as their two Administrative
Assistants, Francine Galipeau and Melissa Béland, are pleased to announce
the introduction of the innovative Doyon Financial Group FOG Partnership
Program to residents of Valley East and Capreol. The initial public
response to the program has resulted in a decision by Gerry to expand his
office with a third broker and two more support staff within the next
several months. In his almost 20 years as a licensed agent, Gerry, who
founded Doyon Financial Group in 1993 has never seen anything quite like
the FOG Partnership program which is being wholeheartedly embraced by
everyone who hears about it.
Doyon Financial Group is a full brokerage firm which deals
with thirteen different Life Insurance Companies, 26 Banks and Trust
Companies, and offers a full line of mutual funds and labour sponsored
funds. This allows Gerry and Ray to provide for all of the financial
planning needs of each of their more than 2000 existing clients. In
December 2004, Gerry, who was born and raised, and still lives in Valley
East, decided to return to his roots and relocate his office to Norm’s
Plaza in Val Caron. Moving closer to his clients has enabled Doyon
Financial Group to make it much more convenient to serve the people who
depend on the firm for important financial advice and direction.
Gerry also recognized the need to bring in “new blood” to the
industry, so when he saw an opportunity to help his nephew, Ray Doyon
begin a career in this field he jumped at the chance. Ray graduated from
Collège Notre Dame and studied at
Ottawa
University
before accepting the invitation to join the firm in 2003. His arrival gave
Doyon Financial Group an enhanced perspective on the personal and
financial needs of younger adults who are beginning their careers and
families. Together, he and Gerry have developed the FOG (Focus On Goals)
Partnership Program.
The FOG Partnership Program is a 15-step process designed to help a
client organize and monitor a complete personal portfolio that is
contained in one simple binder. In other words, Doyon Financial Group will
help an individual gather, review and monitor everything from investments,
wills, pension plans, life insurance, property, powers of attorney,
funeral arrangements, etc. Besides
helping a person assemble into one place, all documents that may be needed
by the executor of an estate in case of an accident or untimely death, it
also allows Gerry or Ray to examine the “whole individual” when
offering advice with respect to financial planning.
“Once we get to know and understand the goals of our client it is
important for us to be aware of all of the factors that will impact on the
achievement of those goals,” explained Gerry. “The FOG Partnership
Program allows us to develop a sound financial plan which is carefully
personalized to suit the unique needs of each individual.”
During each of the next 15 weeks, Doyon Financial Group will be
outlining a different element of the FOG Partnership Program in a
half-page feature which will appear in The Vision Paper. You can get more
information on this program by contacting Gerry or Ray at the number
